For agents and transaction coordinators

A thoughtful closing
includes the technology.

Help buyers understand the devices that come with their home. Give the equipment, accounts, documents and unresolved items a clear place in the transition.

Home Tech Transfer is in prelaunch.

We are confirming onsite providers, supported scope, pricing and automated customer messaging and job coordination. These materials are available now; appointments and partnerships are not being promised.

Start with three questions

  1. What stays? Ask the parties to clarify the included devices, hubs, remotes and installed AV equipment.
  2. Who can release it? Identify the actual account owner and any installer, monitoring or dealer dependency.
  3. When can the change happen? Coordinate around authorized possession and any leaseback, rather than assuming closing automatically permits every change.

Designed for a home with more to explain

A home may include multiple lighting systems, room audio, cameras, motorized shades, pool controls and a programmed equipment rack. The handoff should identify those systems, their dependencies and the appropriate provider before anyone quotes a universal reset.

For luxury and custom homes, preserving useful programming and locating the original integrator can matter as much as enrolling an app. Complex systems require their own accepted scope; property price alone does not tell us the work involved.

The proposed referral workflow

01 / Share a resource

Give the client the checklist

Share our public checklist or let the client contact us directly. Do not forward client contact information or private equipment/account details without their permission.

02 / Confirm the scope

Identify the provider and the quote

After launch readiness, the qualified provider would accept the equipment and technical work, quote the visit, and contract directly with the customer.

03 / Document the result

Keep the next steps visible

The proposed report records accepted inventory, observed functions, ownership actions, buyer notes and outstanding items. A blocked transfer remains an open item.

Resources your team can use now

Discuss your team's handoff process

We welcome a launch inquiry about the kinds of technology questions your buyers and sellers encounter. Tell us your team, general service area and the types of systems involved—without sharing client identities or credentials.
