Why we are building this
A home changes hands.
The details should follow.
Keys explain how to get inside a home. They rarely explain its apps, controllers, room audio, camera accounts or the installer who knows how everything fits together.
A clearer transition for the people involved
Home Tech Transfer is developing an ownership-handoff process for homebuyers, sellers and real estate teams in Dallas–Fort Worth. The work starts with an understandable inventory and a plan for the accepted equipment. It ends with a useful record of observations, completed steps and unresolved items.
Questions should be easy to ask without a phone call. Our website chat helps explain the handoff and what to prepare. The provider responsible for onsite work must be named in your written quote, with the scope and appointment confirmed before a visit. Provider availability is still being arranged.
What is available today
- Public preparation guides and a fictional sample handoff report.
- A chat assistant that explains the proposed service and planning prices.
- Email launch inquiries at hello@hometechtransfer.com.
Bookings are not open. We have not published a customer texting number, staffed-support schedule, provider roster or confirmed device compatibility list. The service notes describe those boundaries.
The report keeps uncertainty visible
A device may respond during an agreed check, remain blocked by account ownership or need specialist review. Those are different results. Warranty documents, subscription decisions, old recordings and local resets also deserve separate fields.
The proposed report is not a home inspection, new warranty, security certification or promise of total data erasure. It records the work actually accepted and observed.
Our planned starting area
The initial delivery focus is North Dallas and Richardson, subject to confirmed provider coverage. Our research and educational resources address the broader DFW market. An inquiry from another city does not establish that an appointment is available there.
